These days it can be hard knowing where the right place is to put your money. With interest rates low, it may seem a waste of time putting it in a savings account where it is probably earning less than inflation. The main reason for this is that gold does not tend to lose value over the long term. It is something which is scarce and in demand and so it is likely that it will continue to increase in value and is something which could be a much better investment than any of the other options, at least at the moment anyway.
